Pilot Michael Germani answered the call for 10 puppies who needed transport from the Tunica County Humane Society in Mississippi to a rescue in Palm Beach, Florida.  Second Chance Puppies and Kittens in Florida specializes in helping abandoned newborns also have a surrogate mother program as well.

These gorgeous 10 pups lost their mother when they were only 6 days old.  The mother was poisoned in her front yard.

Thanks to Tunica Humane’s Executive Director,  Sandy Williams,  and a fabulous foster mom, Donna Doernbach, all 10 pups were bottle fed and given the chance they needed.   Unexpectedly, a yellow lab who had finished nursing her own puppies allowed these pups to nurse as well.

All 10 survived, are healthy and on there way to finding loving families.
