Pilots N Paws is honored to accept the award for Rescue Organization of the Year at the Pet Philanthropy Circle’s 2012 Pet Hero Awards. The award will be presented on June 9th at PetFest in Bridghampton, NY. Our co-founder, Debi Boies, will be speaking at the awards ceremony.

We will be joined at PetFest by PNP supporters Beth Joy and Bella Starlet. Beth Joy has degrees in music, theatre, and dance and starred in Second City in Chicago. In addition, she is a freelance writer, animal publicist, and animal event planner. She is also devoted to the career of Bella Starlet Dog, a fabulous 10 year-young rescue, who Beth Joy adopted and discovered had a talent for acting. Bella Starlet is a professional dog actress, having done commercials (including a Superbowl ad for Dr. Pepper and promos for HBO and Bravo), feature films and magazine covers. Her independent film, “CasaBella,” was picked up by two film festivals that were held last summer.
