Mike Young was out and about again, this time transporting Elijiah to Columbia, SC to his new forever home in Hilton Head.

Eligiah is a sweet dog that was returned to rescue by his owner after 2 years due to health reasons. The problem was, the Rescue re-located from the DC area to Hilton Head NC. So, Mike transported him for them.

The funny thing was the owner had her Cadillac trunk full of stuff, including 3 bags of dog food, that she wanted transported as well.

All this stuff managed to fill the plane to max gross weight even though there were just two people in the plane! But, as usual, Mike made it work, not leaving anyone or anything on the ground.

Mike’s wife accompanied him on this trip, and it was her first rescue flight. She does not like to fly in small planes, but she did great! Petted the dog the whole 2 hour trip!
