Chuey With Her New Family

Congratulations to Chuey, a Chihuahua mix flown from Charlotte, North Carolina to Northern Virginia, during our big rescue flyway a month ago has found a forever home with the family that originally volunteered to foster her.

Her new family is incredibly happy to have her, and she is very lucky to have them! When asked about Chuey’s adoption, her family said,  “We were thinking that maybe she’d had a rough life because she is so scared and skittish. But that’s all changed now. We’re going to adopt her, and she’s sleeping in my daughter’s bed every night! She’s going to have a wonderful life with us…She’s a wonderful, sweet, timid little dog and we’ve fallen in love with her already.”
