Full Circle

Paul began his flight training 30 years ago at Tradewind airport (KTDW) in Amarillo, TX. He was unable to receive his FAA certificate back then, instead going into the army to serve all of his countrymen.

He was able to complete the training and receive his pilots license many years later while living in Colorado. Paul has made a few PnP rescue flights already, but this one was special. This rescue took him full circle and back to where he first left the ground as a student pilot.  The difference was this time the trip had a very special purpose, to help out Cooper.

Cooper is a 6 month old shepherd/lab mix that needed a ride from the Irving, TX Shelter to Colorado. Paul flew from Colorado Springs, CC (KCOS) to the Tradedwind Airport in Amarillo, TX where he met Rachael. Rachael had fostered the 4-legged passenger Cooper overnight.

Upon landing in Colorado, his new mom Laura met Cooper at the plane. The entire line crew from Cutter came out and greeted Cooper, too. It was a worthy welcome.
