It’s always such a good feeling to hear about the animals flown by our volunteer pilots once they find a loving home. Some lucky animals are really lucky to have an amazing group of pilot and ground volunteers, but it wouldn’t be possible without loving adopters. Joey is one such lucky pup.

With the help of Pilots ‘N Paws and ground volunteers, a the Associated Humane Societies in New Jersey took in 24 dogs in October 2012! Joey was one of the last few Chihuahuas that arrived from North Carolina on those transports.  The rescue  made sure he had all his inoculations, dental procedures, and heartworm check. Joey was all set and rarin’ to go!

Vicki visited the Popcorn Park Zoo location, and as she tells it, Joey adopted HER. He’s a real mama’s boy, and they are extremely happy. Joey has four rescue cat boys to keep him company when Vicki isn’t around. She thanks everyone involved from the bottom or her heart.
