As a rescue and shelter, our obligation is to save as many animals as possible. We are responsible to go where our services are needed most. Our reach of rescue is not limited to just our North Iowa region, and when the call comes in, we are willing to respond.

We received a call for help from a small rescue in Texas who was a little overburdened with her big heart and dogs were going to be euthanized. We were able to respond with the help of several organizations and individuals.

A special thank you to Pilots N Paws pilot Zach Humphrey for flying them from Oklahoma City to Kansas City, and the other rescue for driving them to Oklahoma City. We then met Pilots N Paws in Kansas City and drove the three dogs back to Iowa.  Without the help of other organizations, rescue’s like this one will never happen. Way to go team!!
