200 PLUS ANIMALS ARE BEING RESCUED FROM KILL
SHELTERS & GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE
It’s A Sight To See: Heartbreaking Stories Ending In joy! 200 plus abandoned pets scheduled to be put to sleep are being flown to no-kill rescue organizations where they will get a second chance at life, put up for adoption and find their new forever homes with loving families.
About 20 private pilots with the non-profit organization Pilots N Paws will take off in their planes, carrying their precious cargo from Georgia to various pet rescue organizations in Florida. Including West Palm Beach, Clearwater, Tampa, Port Orange, Fort Meyers, Stuart, and Orlando.
Other pets flown by PNP pilots to Spruce Creek will then be driven by volunteers from the community to their new safe harbors.
The animals are all coming from animal shelters in Alabama and Georgia where they were scheduled to be euthanized due to overcrowding.
In addition, the pilots will be taking hundreds of pounds of pet food to the shelters from a food drive organized by the Spruce Creek Aviation Community in Port Orange, Florida.
The Starting point – at 11 AM – from Decatur County Industrial Airport – Bainbridge, GA http://www.airnav.com/airport/KBGE
