Mission

Fly three dogs from different cities in TN to rescue in Florida. Plus, bring one Bull Terrier, Tater Tot, back to Murfreesboro, TN.

Passengers

Beagle Gunner from Collierville, TN. I sponsered Gunner. Gunner was found at the shelter.
Black Lab Pup Dakota from Union City, TN. Owner surrender.
Yellow Lab Judge, all 113 ponds of him, from Campbell CO, TN. Owner surrender.
Bull Terrier Tater Tot from Lake City, FL back to TN. Owner surrender.

Total distance flown 1156 Nautical Miles.

This rescue made for a very long day but worth it. The weather was very good except the last 50 miles from my home airport, Covington, TN. I had some Thunderstorms on my route, but I worked around them.

Thanks goes to:

Nina Wingfield, Collierville, TN for watching Gunner until I could fly him.
Kelly Smith, Lab Retriever Rescue of Florida.
Lorene Steffes for coordinating Dakota’s rescue and Julie and Michael for fostering him before flight.
Donna York for boarding Judge and driving him to the airport..
Penny and Dori of Bully Rescue, FL for finding Tater a new Furever Home.
Bob and Sandy for adopting Tater.

Great rescue with only one leg without having any Dog passengers !!

Jim Carney, you are amazing! For those who don’t know Jim, he is as passionate about giving dogs a better life as he is about flying, and that says a lot! This is just one example of Jim going the EXTRA-EXTRA mile to fly as many PNP requests as possible.
My hat’s off to you Jim.
