Ameriflight, LLC joined Pilots N Paws very recently, and they didn’t waste any time helping out a little dog in trouble. Little Damian is a sweet 11 year old senior who didn’t stand much of a chance at a high kill shelter in Los Angeles. Fabulous Meade Canine Rescue Foundation will save Damian, but he needed a ride from Van Nuys to San Luis Obispo.

Within a couple hours, Pete at Ameriflight was on the board responding that he could take Damian the next morning.

Pete had a 30 minute weather hold in Burbank, which Damian spent on his lap in the operations building. He was a little wobbly, even before he got on the plane, but he made the flight OK and reportedly doing great in his new home.

Within 24 hours of the post for help, Damian was in San Luis Obispo getting settled in to find his new home.
