Flying Hawk, Matilda and Dolly to Safety

Hawk, a happy one/two-year old lab was literally minutes away from being euthanized at the Conroe TX shelter, when a rescue group in Lincoln, NE was able to save him with promise of a transport.

Matilda and Dolly, two of the sweetest beagles, were likewise facing a similar fate after they weaned their puppies (they were picked up while pregnant).

On 6/14/2014, I departed Pearland Regional Airport (south of Houston) for the short hop to Lone Star Executive Airport in Conroe (north of Houston), boarded Hawk and the two mommas, and flew them to Vicksburg/Tallulah Airport on the Mississippi River where Louisiana and Mississippi meet. I handed over the precious boy and mommas to veteran Pilots N Paws pilot Jim Carney (Tennessee), who flew them to Springfield, MO to connect with PNP pilot Sam Taylor. Sam flew the trio to Lincoln, NE. All are safe and will soon find happy and loving homes.
