Black Lab Duke flies with five Lab Pups

Black Lab Duke flies with five Lab Pups

July 11, 2014

Mission – Combine two Rescue Transports from Houston, TX.

1. Lab Duke
2. Five Lab Pups

Total miles flown – 759 NM

Ferry flight empty from Covington, TN M04 to Vicksburg, MS – TVR (LA) 206 NM

Meet, Wade Roberts at Vicksburg TVR Airport where he will transfer Black Lab Duke and five Lab Pups to me. Wade started in Houston, TX with the dogs.

The five Lab Pups go to Nashville, TN, Tune Airport. Lab Duke goes on to Sikeston, MO for transfer to Chicagoland Lab Rescue.

Other than operating about an hour late due to communication mis-understanding, dealing with ATC delays and navigating around severe thunderstorms, the flights went very well.

Thanks goes to,
Julie Wilson and the Nashville Ladies who met me at the Nashville Tune Airport, Chicagoland Lab Rescue, Dan and Melanie Wood at Sikeston, MO.

Jim Carney
Pilot PNP – TN

Great job!! Is Duke the daddy of the puppies?? He’s going to Chicago, right? and the pups went to TN. Wonder if he’ll miss them? ;o)

I adopted a 12 yr old Black Lab a few months ago who was in bad need of a home. She has been thru the Air Force with previous owner & is the sweetest dog I have met yet.
