Ken & Kim Have Flown 8 Rescue Flights This Year!
On March 11th, we flew to Greenville Kentucky to pick up this handsome guy. Sheldon is a five year old American Eskimo mix. We took him from the shelter in Greenville, through the Mulenberg Municipal Airport, where he had been for almost a year and where he was going to be euthanized due to him being heartworm positive. We brought him to his rescue in St. Louis, The American Eskimo Rescue of St. Louis, through the St. Louis Downtown Airport, where he will get treatment for the heartworm and hopefully be adopted to a loving family!
The second dog we flew (the super fluffy one) was Abby. Here is her story:
On Friday, April 10, we flew from St. Louis to Seymour, IN to pick up this sweet American Eskimo/Mix, Abby. She was rescued from a shelter and was heartworm positive. They said she was most likely tethered outside most of her life and was then found wondering down the street. We flew her back to St. Louis where she was met by the owner of her rescue, The American Eskimo Rescue St. Louis.
Thanks!!
