Kauai to OAK, PDX, SJC, SFO, or Newark, NJ

I am the Shelter Operations Manager at the Kauai Humane Society. We are the only shelter on the island...we are starting at transfer program to decrease the number of healthy animals euthanized for space & increase exposure for our wonderful dogs! I have located shelters in Portland, Oakland, & Newark, NJ who are willing to take some of our dogs & have high adoption rates. However, the cost to ship dogs via cargo & the cost of the crate (~$150) is too expensive. We have sent a few with volunteer escorts & would like to do more...this will greatly help us save more lives! We offer free spay/neuter at our shelter, but dogs continue to come in everyday & there are only so many people on the island so we run out of space quickly.

We are looking for commercial airline employees willing to escort dogs on flights to these cities...shelter staff will pick up from the airport.
