how are posts sorted?

Good morning!

I was checking the rides board again this morning and once again couldn't quite figure out what was new or updated vs what wasn't. At first I thought the posts were sorted in reverse order of the latest entry, but that didn't seem to fit. Then I thought perhaps they were sorted in reverse-original-post-date order, but that didn't fit, either. I suppose it *could* be that nobody has posted anything (other than the stolen Dobies alert) since Sunday evening, but that doesn't sound like this gang, and there are some posts that I don't remember seeing yesterday afternoon (although that probably says more about me than about the posts :-)

What is the easiest way to see all entries, or at least all updated posts, since some time X (for me, typically 8-14 hours prior)?

Posts are normally sorted by last reply date.

I click on Board index and from there, View active topics

OK; that makes sense. So perhaps things really were quiet :-)

Oho! That's a good idea. I'll try that; thanks.

Aha! I just noticed something else. It looks like there are at least two types of normal posts (plus the admin 'i' posts), and the light bulbs come before the papers. I hadn't noticed the icons before.

Still looking and learning...
