Hi Claudia,
A transport of that distance would best be accomplished by a commercial airline. The pilots on this board volunteer their time, planes & gas and can only do limited distances. The number of pilots you would need, not to mention overnight foster care (and winter weather conditions over the majority of the route) would be overwhelming for even an experienced transport coordinator.
If the puppy is small & can fit in a carrier that goes under an airline seat, you might possibly get help from a commercial pilot or flight attendant on this board,
You can try posting a request on the ride board from Atlanta to Seattle, just to see if anyone responds.
And you can try Operation Roger http://operationroger.rescuegroups.org/ which is a group of over the road truckers who volunteer rides for pets along their route.
Or join these groups http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/dogt ... olunteers/ and http://www.dogster.com/forums/Dogster_R ... ead/698192
to try for ground transport.
Good luck,
Joanne
