The purpose of this forum is NOT to post or coordinate transports but to mentor those who would like to learn how to utilize the "Ride Board: Animals Needing Transport" features. Volunteer mentors will do their best to answer your questions and share their knowledge and experience.
I am a veterinarian in Sugar Land Texas and a person abandoned a dog here at our hospital. He is a rare breed called a Presa Canario. They are not accepted by shelters and are immediately euthanized. They need a special type of owner to know how to handle this breed. I have found a rescue organization in Ohio called Presa Canario Rescue and Rehabilitation Center that has agreed to accept him if I can get him to them. He is a 14 month old male who we are going to neuter this week. He weighs about 100# and is untrained but has shown no signs of aggression. He was abandoned in our hospital March 1 so we have had a lot of time to interact with him and as stated- he is a goof ball with no training but has shown no aggression. I believe the owner of the rescue may have worked with your organization in the past- her website is Utopiarrc@yahoo.com
. I would appreciate help in getting this dog to a lady who can help him find a good home.
