I thought I saw a post regarding a September group fly in at the Charlotte, Monroe Executive airport? I can not seem to find details on that now. Can anyone please advise?

Hi Kevin!

Yes, our annual large "flyway" event is going to be held the weekend of Sept.28-29th. All pilots will be receiving a mass email this week, asking if they are available to participate. Rooms, dinner Friday evening and breakfast Saturday morning will all be provided for the pilots who can help.

As you will read in the announcement email this week, we are asking if the following weekend is available with you as well in case weather concerns delay us a week.

Thanks for asking and hope to see you in Monroe along with a couple hundred animals flying out to safe havens thanks to our volunteers!

Debi

Debi, my family lives in Charlotte and are organizing a collection of blankets, food, treats, etc for the event. I'll help fly if possible. My mother and sister are huge supporters of Pilots and Paws and would like to volunteer to help for the event. My mother's e-mail is [email protected]

That would be great. Once we get closer and you receive the email for pilots, please ask her to send an email to [email protected] That way we can all stay updated!

Hi guys, I have use of a Seneca (Cargo Configured) or my C182, but I would like to attend and arrive on Friday night. I tried to register using the mass emailer, but it didn't work. Can I still get in?

      Debi,

I recently received my private pilot license and did not receive the Email about this opportunity. I live in Charlotte and fly out of Concord and Monroe and would love to join the flight caravan. CanI get some more information on participation, if that is still open?
