Ethics Question

Post by cymiller » Mon Jul 21, 2014 4:37 pm

Does anyone feel that it's cause for concern when a pilot who actively promotes himself as flying for PNP also aggressively engages in and promotes breed-specific discrimination? This seems so contrary to PNP's mission and the goodwill my colleagues and I have always experienced from the fantastic PNP pilots who've helped our rescue dogs. Everyone has a right to their opinion, for sure, but to actively make statements like "Pitbulls can maul children to death" or "Pitbulls and Rottweillers get the bad reputation BECAUSE THEY KILL PEOPLE," is a slap in the face to the entire rescue community, and is not the spirit we all have come to associate with our PNP Angels. Thoughts??

It is extremely unfortunate that anyone connected with saving these lives cannot keep their personal negative opinions in check. People who express these statements DO NOT reflect the opinions of Pilots N Paws. That being said, this is America and people are entitled to their own opinions and have the freedom to express them.

Please everyone focus on the animals who need our help.

Thanks
