I don't know if these guys are for real. (Maybe an early 4/1 joke?)

Perhaps we can prevail upon them to handle the coast-to-coast cross-country hauls for us...

Love the idea of an airline for pets---it is all so pre-economic crisis. ;)

Hi: :D
I have been getting emails from a company (pet air) that has been trying to get up
and going for the last several years. Would be nice if they could actually do it.
I would think it would be easier for the owner to go with the pet though, but maybe they think they
can fit more pets in and make more money? I know I have spent plenty of $$ flying mine to National dog shows
over the years and its getting more pricey all the time.
Hopefully they are legit... it would be awesome if they could step in to help the dogs for
multiple state transports.

I hope they make it, but I have some doubts. Anyone looking at the various transport requests, not only here but all over the internet will find there are animals originating almost everywhere, but it seems mostly in the southeast, going in all directions.

I don't know how that will work for an airline that has limited routes that it will fly. Most importantly, as an owner I would never transport my dogs anywhere whithout being without being with them.

As far as rescued animals being transported I have a hard time imagining rescues or shelters paying for a transport since they tend to use all of their resources saving animals and even if the air transport costs as little as $100 I do not see many rescues in the position of being able to pay that.

I think the airline for pets has a tough road ahead.
