Not getting any responses LA to Houston

I posted a few days ago requesting a ride for a Lab from San Pedro to Houston. I think it will require two legs for the trip. I have only gotten one response. I also messaged a few pilots and have not heard back. Am I doing something wrong? How can I increase the response so I can make this happen?
