Morning everyone,

I would like to share with you a "trailer" for a documentary film that is almost to completion. Michael Samstag of Samstag Productions ( http://msamstag.blogspot.com/ ) has been working with Pilots N Paws, rescue groups, shelters, and adopters to share our story. Michael has captured the essence of what all of us connected with rescue work do every single day......

The trailer is outstanding and I am looking forward to seeing the culmination of this project. I know he has spend many hours filming and interviewing. Jon and I cannot thank Michael enough for caring about what Pilots N Paws is all about but more then that, he has a big heart and his emotion shows in the way he has edited this film. Next stop, Animal Planet or something similar :D Looking forward to hearing your feedback--remember, Pilots N Paws belongs to us all!

Michael and his people have flown with me and have spent hours videotaping all aspects of animal rescues and transports. He is a first class guy and although I knew he was a professional, I had no idea his product would be of such a high quality level. I cannot wait to see the finished product that he has and is working so hard to finish.

We are indebted to Michael for documenting the problem and the pilotsnpaws efforts.

Terrific ! Another similar documentary is being aired soon by PBS
"Fifteen Legs" A documentary on dog transports, is being released to PBS tomorrow. You will need to check with your local PBS station to find air dates in your area -- pass on the news!

Here's the link to the Best Friends page about it:

Thanks Jim, for being a part of this documentary and continuing to fly these pups to safety. Here is an easy link for people to use to view this different version of the trailer. At the end of "Tails in Flight" there is also a Pilots N Paws short film that Michael graciously made for us...Just click on our logo it is worth watching too!
