There is a way pilots can look for current transport requests by using zip codes or your airport ID. Here is the link for you to utilize this feature. It isn't by state but setting the limitations will at least let you know which ones are closest to you. phpbb-5k-bydistance.php
This link is listed on our website homepage under Pilot Tools under the Resources tab for Maps. The rescue map is on the bottom and shows the straightline course for all current requests. I opened the map to the View Larger link but not sure the link below will take you there. You might have to click on Maps under the Resource tab and then scroll down and enlarge the Rescue Request map. https://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source ... ,54.537226
Sharing this from our Technical Support forum so you will be able to see what the colors on the rescue map indicates:
From our pilot/webmaster:
Any lines that show up as red are purely accidental. There are three shades of blue. Dark blue are new requests – under two days old. Between 2 and 7 days are medium blue, Over 7 days are light blue.
The rescue flight needed map is the only full map that loads quickly and that is because we keep the forum monitored and after 30 days, if a request is not active it is deleted. The other maps have far exceeded google's capabilities, volume wise, which is why for each transport request it is best to choose the mapping options and click on the link that best relates to what you are looking for, pilot, rescue volunteer, proximity to transport line, etc.
The transport request map on the homepage is a great tool for pilots to search quickly for flights that might be along their line!
