ReUsing your previous Dog's belongings with New Dog

All,
I need experienced recommendations here. We recently transitioned our beautiful dog to doggy heaven the other day. She was 14 years and gave everything she had to us for 14 years. Vela was an outstanding dog that was completely loved by everyone she came across. However, cancer took her body before her mind was ready to go. My wife and I love dogs, of course and have been thinking about our next creature to bring in. Fortunately, Vela did not have a long-suffering process. However, we still have all of Vela's belongings, which are quite expensive and include bedding, toys, expensive leather leashes/collars, food bowls, ear muffs for flying with us, etc.
In my opinion, I feel a new dog would sense that the older may have passed here and not feel as welcomed into our home using Vela's belongings. I think that collars can be easily replaced, leashes cleaned and reutilized, as well as the bowls. but the bedding/toys may not be able to unless we replaced the foam cushioning, bleached the fabric and replaced the stuffing.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
