Question about Liability Insurance

I was looking at another private airplane/rescue organization. They require a copy of my liability insurance policy.
Why?
In the past, I've been the victim of identity theft and insurance fraud. I do not give out personal information unless it's absolutely necessary. Nobody gets my SS number, unless they are required to report to the IRS.
My wife's handbag was stolen. The thief made a fake ID stating he was me, at my address, and proceeded to write checks on my (closed) account. Clearing it up cost me a few thousand dollars.
A few years ago, someone cut in front of me and locked up his brakes. I didn't stop in time, and hit him. The only damage was a broken tail-light, yet this guy sured me for $25,000. I believe this amount is the required amount in Massachusetts.
I am well aware of what someone can do with just a little bit of information.
The last thing I want to do is provide information about my insurance limits to someone I don't know. I have no reason to believe that anyone in that organization is dishonest. Unfortunately, it would be way too easy for someone to check my insurance limits, pick me as a mark, set up a rescue, and file a lawsuit.
I am sure the guy who sued me would find a way to hurt his back helping me load a dog into my plane.
Any thoughts?
