How do I secure a crate for transport?

Post by Dr. Mike » Mon Jun 02, 2014 11:25 pm

I have done a number of transports, however, I do not have a crate for future transports of the animals. Who should I contact or where do I look for one? Thanks. Mike

Hi Mike,

Thank you for volunteering and flying animals in need. Please send your request to [email protected] We will need the measurement of the area you are planning on carrying the crate to help you determine the sizing. If you are ok with thethering a larger dog, we often have safety harnesses available to ship to you as well.

Also need your shipping address and please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery from the time of request.

Admins, I sent an email to the above address and have not received a response in a few days.
Is there a better email address to use?

Thank you

Hi Lou,

That's the right place! We're excited to get you the supplies you need to begin flying PNP missions. We just emailed you a list of supplies for you to choose from. We love your enthusiasm to begin flying rescue animals with PNP!

Hi Group,

I was reading the thread and am certain you are all busy with the holiday's and the turtles. I sent a message to the email address on Nov 26th and haven't received a reply. I have volunteered for a bunch of missions and if one gets accepted I will try to borrow a crate but hoping to be ready for my first mission.

Thanks
Rob

All, we have placed an order for additional crates and are waiting for them to arrive in order to be able to ship them out to you. Your emails have been received, we are behind in answering all of them and aplogize for that. Please know you are on the list! We hope to have the order in two weeks time. After that we can begin shipping the supplies you need.

We do have a few size small crates left, 19 inch, that would fit a cat, puppy or chi size dog. If you need that size we can ship that to you. Works well in RV aircraft. When you are requesting a crate or harness for use, please also include your t-shirt size, if you would like one, and your shipping address.

Thank you for your patience,

Admin

Debi, et all -

I've sent in multiple emails. I got a response from Kate last week and replied and have not heard back. I realize that everyone is really busy, but we're all here trying to help and its difficult to get straight answers regarding crates. I have a transport set up for this weekend and another one next weekend, but have no crates. Kate said that there were a few left, and I recommended that she send one, but I have not heard back.

Thanks
