I was excited to see this route and sad to see that there is a weight limit of 20 lbs. I have a foster going to Vt and could be picked up in Hartford, but he is 44 pounds! I will keep looking and bless you for what you do!!

Any possibility of making a stop in Valdosta, GA??? I have a female lab being rescued from a kill shelter and I need to get her to Virginia. BUT, we have family in CT that could meet you in Hartford and they could foster this sweet girl until we can get up there? Please let me know asap!! Many thanks for your help with this organization.

Debb, thank you for adopting. Presently, the pilot who made this offer is out of the country, sorry! There are also no stops made along this route it is always a direct flight and can only accomodate small dog or two at the present time.

I run an animal rescue shelter and adoption center in Brooklyn and woould love to discuss setting up a regular bimonthly or whenever the pilot wants to make the trip opportunity. I pull dogs from all over and would love to save some dogs from a high kill shelter in Miami Dade County. There are plenty of little dogs that I could have brought to where the pilot is in West Palm and I could easily arrange a regular pickup im Hartford, CT. Conceivably we collectively could save 48 small dogs over the next 12 months and that would be an awesome additional use of this precious resource. Would love to discuss and set in motion in the near future at your direction. There are several cute little doggies at Miami Dade County right now on the euth list.

Having computer issues and my email not going through. But I see from the postings that this pilot is only taking small dogs. I have a 40 lb female retriever mix in Miami that needs to go to Ct. Please let me know if things change and he can take on larger dogs. Thanks. Colleen, Save A Dog A Day
