Why don't you go back with the original plan for the other pilot who was going to fly the dog to John Tune Airport, Nashville (NOTE: Shelbyville, TN , SYI, South of Nashville, might be better , with much better fuel price)
and I will still fly the dog to Farmington, MO. The runway at Festus, MO is to short for my plane. If the weather is OK, I should be open next week. Wed weather looks OK at this time.
Make sure the vet says it is OK for him to fly that soon after being altered.
