All three are easy enough airports to land at. Just a matter of what is most convenient for the receiving party. (Driggs is the shortest drive, but also the smallest town. Many people there will need to drive to the "big city" weekly.)

Re the kennel size, its more a worry of it fitting in the plane. I don't know what Jeff is flying, but I am in a Cessna 172. The largest cube that fits in the back seat is in the neighborhood of 35x32(H)x27, and getting a big crate into the plane means putting in the two halves separately and reassembling it inside. Some people (not I) do take bigger dogs loose and just tether them to something in the back.
If we know this dog is requiring a particular size crate, we need to make sure the pilots who sign up have room for it.

Siegmund - looks like it may be you and me. I'll bring him to Salt Lake City. What airport do you prefer? Also what days are you available to do the flight?

Delaina - for me the crate can't be any bigger than the one you picked blue up in last time - that one barely fit in my plane!

Btw - 32x31 is the biggest I can fit without taking it apart. The one we transported Blue in will definitely fit in his 172.

Flexible on airports but the first one that comes to mind is Bountiful Skypark. One of the other P&P pilots out of Idaho Falls is fond of Heber City to avoid the Class B. Personally I dont get many chances to go into the Class B and the practice would do me good.

The only day this week that's completely out for me is Monday. The evenings of the other days are possible:
Fri and Tues are possibilities assuming I can sneak out of work an hour early. If the weather is perfect, the weekend may work - on Saturday someone else has the plane most the day and on Sunday I am busy most the day, but if it's clear enough to fly back at night without hitting ice they could work. Between the first quarter and full moon is ideal for that too. Feel free to give a call at 208-200-2347 to kick around some ideas.

Ok, sounds good. I'll give you a call on Friday if that works. I'm flying all day tomorrow.

Wish I was. I'll be flying a desk, at third-floor altitude, all day tomorrow. (And I will assume from that, that Friday is not the day for this transport.)

haha. I understand! I'll waive to you when I'm in the air!

Yes, my plane is getting it's 100 hour done and just won't be ready by this Friday. I do have another Pilots and Paws flight this Saturday. I am open this Sunday for it and I could also do it the next Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. I'm out of town Mon-Thurs next week.

Do not think Sunday is going to be a go for me :( Got reminded I have an evening board meeting for a nonprofit group here... starting after the function I was hoping to sneak out of early.

I gather we will be on opposite schedules the next few weeks here, with me free to fly midweek after work but out of town Fri-Sun, the 18th-20th and the 25th-27th.

Completely understand. Normally evening is fine with me but with this flight I've got to go right over the Grand Canyon and it's not something I want to do at night as the corridors are pretty tight and busy. Looks like May then for the trip would be doable for us to do the flight.

Delaina, looks like we can cover the flight in May - is that doable for you or do you want to repost and see if there are other pilots who can work schedules out sooner? Just let us know!

I heard from Delaina and she is going to repost to see if we can work it out sooner.
