Additional info/situation: We're a 501(c)3 who built and run a Children's Home for youth with developmental disabilities. Those youth live at our Children's Home 24/7 and receive the care they need. Last year, we had a fundraiser and decided that the funds should be used to purchase a trained therapy dog who would live with the 6 youth there. We settled on Therapy Dogs United out of Erie, PA. They've been great. We're in ND. The problem now is getting Hutch back to ND! TDU and others have strongly advised us not to use commercial airlines as the transportation means because Hutch would need to be in the cargo area. The train is not an option either. Driving is, however, the Children's Home Coordinator, who is flying down to train with Hutch and TDU, is unable medically to drive that distance back with Hutch. So we're in a bind. A local volunteer who has a standard poodle of her own and brings her to our Children's Home to interact with the kids, let us know about Pilots N' Paws as a possible option. I'd also like to say that the zip codes listed above aren't required. If a flight out of another airport near there works, that can be arranged (CHI for example). And also on the way back. Minot is ideal, but Bismarck or Fargo would also work. Even MSP would work! We can take it from there. Any and all help suggestions are appreciated! Thank you.

I'll need to know his weight and size crate he will come in (or I could provide one.)

Subject to this, I can do most airports in Wisconsin to the Minneapolis area.

You can email me direct also: [email protected]

If someone can get the dog to the Grand Forks or Fargo area, I can potentially take the dog the rest of the way to Minot. I live in Grand Forks. I could potentially even pick the dog up in MSP. Email- [email protected]

I'm in Duluth, MN and based out of KSUW. I could fly from this area to Grand Forks/Fargo. I could also do link up from north Wisconsin areas too.
