Colleen,

On Wednesday afternoon, I am going to be doing a brief flight to check out the plane following an annual inspection. I will be departing from Leesburg, VA (KJYO) and could bring the pups up to KLOM if someone could get the dogs up to Leesburg in the early afternoon. It's probably a long shot, but thought I'd offer if you could find a person(s) to get the pups up north that afternoon.

So far these are the offers.
I am available on Saturday July 19, but not on Sunday July 20. I'm based at LKU in central Virginia. I can fly a leg from North Carolina to Virginia.

I could fly the final leg on Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon, but need to know quick as I'm a Cessna 172 renter and I'd have to reserve the plane (also I'm VFR only but that doesn't look to be a factor this weekend, fingers crossed). Suggest a hand-over (puppy-over) at FDK Frederick, MD so the incoming aircraft won't have to enter the Washington SFAR. Cheers. Robert

I'm tied up this weekend with work. Next weekend either Saturday or Sunday I'm open as long as we 're vfr. I'd like the south route this time though

Hi. Just sent you a private message (in reply to yours) but here it is again: "I could fly the final leg on Saturday afternoon or Sunday afternoon, but need to know quick as I'm a Cessna 172 renter and I'd have to reserve the plane (also I'm VFR only but that doesn't look to be a factor this weekend, fingers crossed). I should be able to fly the Frederick to Wings leg on Saturday depending on time of day. Will the dogs we crated?

Also Camp David will be under the extended TFR this weekend...

What I was thinking was a 3 leg flight from GMU to LOM. The total distance is 475 nm, whether you go east around DC (over PXT) or west (over MRB). The 3 legs would be either GMU-SIF-XSA-LOM or GMU-BCB-OKV-LOM.

Frank - I am based in southern PA and could take the last leg. I prefer the western route. Please let me know the timing and if you are interested in me helping.

As an alternative or backup, I could fly the pups from Martinsburg to LOM just about any day of the week, weather permitting.
