The weather doesn’t look that great for this weekend (Aug 9-10). Saturday has 80% chance of thunderstorms around Winston-Salem and Northern VA. Sunday is 60%. I suggest we plan for Aug 16-17. 3 legs: KGMU-Southern VA-Northern VA/MD-KLOM. Northern VA/MD can be west (KOKV, KMRB, KJYO, KFDK) or east (KXSA, 2W6, KEZF). I'm based at KJYO and can fly either day and either the 2nd or 3rd leg. West is better for me, but I can do east. GMU-DAN is 180 nm, DAN-OKV is 164 nm, and OKV-LOM is 146 nm GPS direct.

Can anyone else fly next weekend?

You have one pilot offering to pick the dogs up in GMU, and a second pilot willing to fill the second half of the trip on Saturday, August 9, and neither of us has heard back from you, either answering a couple of logistics questions, or even as to yes, please, or no thanks, May I assume you are no longer in need of help? :sigh:

I'm sorry Amelia my mother passed away unexpectedly at work a little over a week ago and today her work had a memorial service for her. I was at the memorial and just got home.
