We have a solid IFR-capable 6-place Saratoga that already has lots of dog hairs and scents permanently embedded in the cabin. My wife and I fly our chocolate lab (Ruger) to our "up-north" cottage 20 weekends a year, and over the years we've flown dogs for friends and family plenty of times. N81579 comes equipped with a custom-made padded platform that makes a very comfortable spot for four-legged crew members to take a nap during flights. Canine payload up to 800 pounds with mid-range fuel load.

We can easily handle trips within a 500-mile radius from Saginaw, MI - longer trips by prior arrangement. We are based at Jack Barstow Airport (3BS), Midland, MI.

Our good friend is vet, and I would be very willing to ask her for help if a passenger needs special care during transport.

I wanted to take the time to personally welcome you & thank you for joining pilot & paws.
I can tell you that this will be a very fun & rewarding experiance.

I suggest you start by looking @ the bulletion board under animals needing transportation in your area.
Sometimes these rescues do not know the capabilities of pilots & airplanes so we tend to be proactive & help them out.

If you have any questions or need any help please feel free to contact me @ JTS42481@aol.com.

Once again welcome aboard!

Jerry
