ESKIE BOLT MAKES IT TO ST. LOUIS

What a story Bolt, the wonder Eskie, has. Bolt was a family pet until one day his family dropped him off in a wooded area ... for good. Then the family went to the pet store and bought a new puppy. Bolt was left to fend for himself in the wooded/lake area for days in storming weather too -- no food or water. Luckily, he was found by animal control, and they worked to get him to our rescue group. Staff at the shelter found out who dropped him off and those people will now face charges. Bolt is a young American Eskimo dog who could have wound up in harms way. Thanks to Tanna and her Staff at Animal Control in Atchinson, KS, for saving him. Today, Bolt arrived in St. Louis at American Eskimo Rescue and will now find his forever home. Thank you to Sam Taylor for bringing this boy to safety via Pilots N Paws! Yippie, he is so happy. The Animal Control in Atchinson, KS, like any other shelter, has so many dogs to take care of and find homes for. This is one they won't have to worry about. Please see these wonderful pictures. Thank you Tanna and Sam. This makes our rescue work all worth it. We like to say: "It's the icing on the cake." Best Regards, American Eskimo Rescue St. Louis
