Lance flies westbound, Scooter flies east

Thanks! To Lynn, Marylin, Carmen, Anita, Tara and Tonya! We got "lucky" and flew two dogs last Tuesday, one each direction. Jill and I are constantly amazed at the effort so many people expend to make these plans work! It takes communication and co-operation and the result, in this case, is Lance and Scooter getting a chance at a better life.
Lance is a German Shorthair Pointer, picked up by animal control as a stray. Tara, Cache Co. Humane Society, brought him to the Logan, UT, airport where Jill and I loaded him up and flew him to Boise, ID. Anita took "control" for further transport to the receiving rescue.
Scooter is a deaf Border Collie, brought to the Boise airport by Carmen. We flew him to Evanston, where Tonya met him for the drive to Casper.
Both dogs loaded easily into our medium-size, collapsible wire kennel and were sleeping soon after engine start. They're both good dogs and we were happy to be part of their travel.
