Four bassets saved - Missouri to NJ with help from PNP Pilot

These four bassets were purchased at a dog auction in Missouri by a local rescue, brought to a vet's office where they were spayed/neutered, updated their vaccinations, and dewormed. The vet held onto the bassets until they were ready to move this weekend, which involved a ground transport that started Saturday morning in Missouri, an overnight stay in Richmond, IN. The ground transport resumed the following morning into Somerset, PA, where pilot Paul Pogorzelski and his daughter Haley picked them up and flew them into West Trenton Mercer airport. It was a sight to be seen when the bassets were being unloaded - reminiscent of the clown car in a circus!!

After loading up the bassets into my car, we stopped at our next destination in Washington Twp, NJ. Two of the bassets were adopted that night by a pre-approved home who originally was to select one of the female bassets - they decided two were more fun. The other two are in a foster home, with the one male basset to be adopted this weekend, possibly the last of the four (a female) to also be adopted this weekend.

GOD BLESS YOU, PAUL - for all of your help and willingness to save the homeless hounds!!
