YES, we are off to New Orleans today to load up 169 animals tomorrow morning to send them on their journey to find their new loving homes.....some of them already have homes waiting, others will not wait long!

We will have 22 planes on the ground in New Orleans at AeroPremier FBO with a total of 58 planes working together in several directions to fly these pups.....

ALL OF YOU deserve a huge thanks for stepping up, volunteering and saving these animals from euthanasia. Hopefully we will also add some new pilots in the New Orleans area as the shelters and rescues there have many many more animals to move.

Keep good thoughts for us all and thank you for supporting each other and always making a difference in so many lives!!

Safe flying all!

WOOHOO, what a wonderful and heartwarming event! I wish every single one of you could have been there to experience the feeling all of us felt loading up 171 dogs on 22 planes and sending them off to their new forever lives!

Just a tremendous group effort including all the connecting pilots in Knoxville TN, Marianna FL, Morgantown WV, Clemson, SC and the pilots who went directly to Missouri, Iowa and Memphis and West Palm Beach! We appreciate all the help our pilots received at each transfer location from local volunteers who came out to walk, water, hug and re-crate the dogs......check out our photo album on our homepage http://www.pilotsnpaws.org and also below are some links our fabulous Subaru sponsor took during the loading in New Orleans. Petmate went beyond the call and provided the crates all the pilots were using so please support our sponsors, they are our proud partners and they do care about these animals!
