PILOTS N PAWS

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Pilots Mahesh Sankaran and Jeff Spencer. We had 3 dogs that were in need of rescue. Two would have been put down if there was nobody to step forward and take them. Three rescues stepped forward but the transport would have to start with Henry in NC coming to GA via ground transport. Blackjack (newf mix) and Audrey (cattle dog) were already in GA. Audrey's foster mom took all 3 dogs to meet Jeff who flew them to Mahesh who flew them into Dayton, OH where Carol was waiting to pick them up and take them to a wonderful truck driver Tom Beard (who always helps on his every other week trip from Denver to the east coast) who took them into their rescues in Denver. This took quite a bit of coordinating but could not have been done without Jeff and Mahesh flying these babies for us. Henry, Blackjack, and Audrey say thanks to you both for getting us to our rescues. Blackjack will go into training to be a therapy dog, Audrey will go to cattle dog rescue and find a forever home, and Henry will be with me in MT until his hair grows back (Henry had demodex mange and at 8 mths old was going to be put down just because of it).

And we've now heard that the cattle dog (Audrey), here with PnP pilot Mahesh (right) and Todd (left), has been adopted into her forever home.
