**DONE** Thank you!! Murphy~ 4 legs please

Post by Liza007 » Tue Jan 04, 2011 8:24 pm

Murphy is a sweet German Shorthaired Pointer that is getting his second chance at a life! A foster home has been found for him and they can't wait to meet him!

I have broken this up into 4 easy legs (flexible of course) but I understand that TSO has great pie! LOL
OJC~STL (Olathe, KS~St. Louis, MO) <200NM>
STL~TYQ (St. Louis, MO~Indianapolis Exec.) <209NM>
TYQ~TSO (Indianapolis Exec~Carroll County/Tolson) <240NM>
TSO~FDK (Carroll County~Frederick, MD) <184NM>

As this is a collective effort of multiple pilots, even if a leg has been 'spoken' for I would still need to connect the dots as such;
If you can assist, can you please reply with the days you are available to fly, your airfield identifier and leg you can help with or the alternative route that you can assist with? And given the weather of late: WHAT YOUR REQUIRED MINIMUM IS

As I do not always receive notifications of postings here.. please email me at [email protected] and refer to MURPHY in the subject line.

Thank you all so very much for your consideration and thank you for choosing rescue

It's a little confusing but it sounds like Sarah picked those pups up today.. on the other hand, if she didn't, I can definitely see if the crate of puppies will fit in the pilots planes that have stepped forward for my run.

I am still missing a Kansas pilot for Saturday however (OJC-SUS) and I am also missing a TYQ pilot (either direction)

If the pups can get to FDK it's only 116NM to ABE IF someone can come down to meet them for the handoff. I do have Allentown contacts, but I am hesitant to stir the soup with others transports.. not that I don't want to help.. but it could already be under control
Definitely a good idea Mike! Would love to see more dogs get home if I can.

Ah, didnt know if she was flying today or not... oops. and after getting the stats on the 4 dogs, adding another would be rough.

I go from Dayton to PKB every week, east on Sun/Mon, and back on Thurs... I fly it sometimes, but if not I can take him in the car. So if someone could get him to Indy/Dayton this weekend I could get him to PKB... and then PKB-FDK is only 190nm or so.

regards,

Mike
