Can you give Zeb a ride this Sun Jan. 9 to Poland, ME?

Number of animals being transported: 1
Breeds, weight, age: BC/Retriever Mix, 2 years, between 45-50lbs
Health Condition: Good
Heart worm Status: Neg
Vaccinations: Up to date
Health Certificate: Will be completed prior to flight
Spay/Neutered: Neutered
Special needs: None
Name of Sending & Receiving Rescue/Parties: Sending: Wilson County Humane Society, Wilson, NC
Receiving: Black Dog Rescue, Poland, ME
Contact information (publicly viewable on forum): [email protected] or cell# 252-292-6354
Additional Info/situation: Zeb is a strayed that showed up at a family home about 2 months ago. He is completely vetted, house trained, crate trained, and loves kids and other dogs. Being a black dog, we have been unable to place Zeb in his forever home. Jessica with Black Dog Rescue has agreed to take Zeb and find him his forever home in ME. He is ready to go as soon as the flight can be arranged. Sooner the better since he had to be removed from his foster home last week due to declining health of the foster to a kennel. With the winter weather, we know that it is hard to plan far ahead. I did notice that the weather is looking good for this Sun. Jan. 9. Would you be able to help on such a short nootice???
UPDATE FRIDAY JAN. 7: If the weather permits, a pilot is available to help transport Zeb from Lumberton, NJ to Biddeford or Oxford to his new rescue. We do not have a way to get Zeb from Wilson to Lumberton, NJ on Sun. Is there anyone out there that would be willing to work with us and the other pilot to make this happen for Zeb on Sun as long as the weather permits???

Hi Pam. Keith Decker here. I see you have transport for Duke covered, but you need help with Zeb. A transport that length will most likely require several pilots. I' d like to do the 1st leg up to Lynchburg Va. or maybe as far north as Frederick, Maryland. Because the weather looks good for both Sat. 1-08 and Sun. I'd like to do the first leg on Sat. That would give the northern pilots a shot at getting him "home". Let me know if I can help. Regards, Keith

I may be going from N14 (or an airport close by) to B19 on Sunday, let me know if this would help.

Where is N14 located and where is B19 located? I don't know the airport codes.

That would work if I can find someone from Wilson to Lumberton, NJ to meet you. Would also need to see if the rescue would be able to drive to Bideford, which they should.

I will work on this and get back with you.

Is there another email and cell numner thati can use to contact you as soon as I know somehing?

Thanks

I understand with the weather. I have been watching it too.

I am going to edit the post to see if I can find a 1st leg pilot. If I do then you two will make the call. I totally understand with the weather. If we can't do it Sun then we will try again later when there looks like a break in the forecast.

We are having a lot more snow here then normal.

Thanks, but a couple of pilots that's doing a run next weekend from Greensboro, has offered for Zeb to ride along. I think we will do that.

Thanks for the offer
