There is a dog in Yanceyville, NC (about 122 miles NE of Troutman, NC) at the kill shelter that we are desperately trying to get out. We are a no-kill shelter in south florida. I do have a friend that lives in Arden (just south of Asheville), NC that is willing to hold the dog for me until I can find another pilot to bring it down to me. Can you please help me? The dog is a female lab/boxer mix. Weighs about 60-70 pounds. Just had pups. A rescue took her pups, but left her there.
