CB,

I have someone who has stepped up to overnight Brooklin in Montgomery, AL.

Everyone,

I am also working on getting allt he information regarding this transport together, this is my first one so it is taking a little time but I will have it out to each of you tonight.

Thanks for all your hard work on getting this girl to safety.

Kerri,

Good news about the overnight care. We can use Montgomery Humane Society as a backup if needed. Please send me the contact information for the overnight foster so we can coordinate for Sunday morning. I'd like to be in the air leaving Montgomery Aviation at Dannelly Field by 0730 to allow plenty of cushion at Perry to meet with Jeff. Depending on where Brooklin will be staying, we could pick her up or have her meet us at the airport.

My range is about a 250 mile radius around Houston, Texas. Roughly that would include any field within an arc from Houma, LA (KHUM) to Monroe, LA (KMLU) to Paris, TX (KPRX) to Brady, TX (KBBD) to Carrizo Springs, TX (KCZT) to Brownsville, TX (KBRO).

Brooklin - UPDATE

Postby KNorris15 on Fri Mar 20, 2009 2:40 pm

CB, Jeff, Terry,

Thanks to all of you who have put so much time into getting Brooklin to the Rescue in Florida.

But I have some Wonderful news. A wonderful family who was only going to keep her until Saturday when she was going to be transported to Montgomery fell head over heels in love with her and have decided to adopt this sweetheart. She will begin her medical treatment for Heart Worms starting Monday.

I can't thank you all enough for putting in the time and effort into helping us get Brooklin on her way to a second chance. If your plans are all ready to go, I apologize, but encourage you to search the board for other animals that may need transport in your area.

CB, thank you and your wife for checking for a place to stay overnight for her transport.

Wow, that is great news Kerri!

I'll be standing by for the next request... Although I may be able to get a CAP flight in Sunday afternoon. :)
