HUGE THANKS to Jon,Wayne & Kathi for getting Lucy to rescue--where she was adopted almost right off the plane.
Someone helping pick up the pups at the airport fell head over heels for this sweetheart.:D

Lucy is only 3 or 4 months old and is has been at the shelter twice. She was adopted and then returned because she "bit" her owner. C'mon--puppies are like that. But she needs to get to rescue ASAP as owner surrenders have less time when the shelter is crowded.

Jon, What time are you departing CHA? I may be able to help on Sunday.

Is there carrier for the pup? If so, what size?

Wayne, Oh thank you so much, Lucy is small maybe 10# and she needs to connect with Jon on Sunday, Jon has crates and if needed maybe I can arrange for the shelter to send one for the Cedartown leg to Chattanooga. Thanks so much, if you wish you can contact me at [email protected]. Kathi

I shoot for somewhere between 8:00 AM and 8:15. Its a long day with about 1050 NM of aviating so I don't want to arrive home too late because I ain't worth a damn as the evening comes on.

Wayne, this is pretty serious as I need to know whether to ground transport or count on you for air. My volunteer in Cedarville is about 4 miles from the airport if you can make the connection with Jon. She is willing to pull Lucy and take her to meet you if you can meet Jon on Sunday.I am pretty sure except for wind conditions you guys should be able to meet. Let me know if this is something you can do otherwise I need to work on the ground to get her to Chat on Sunday. Thanks ever so much and Lucy is so grateful too. Kathi ([email protected])

Wow, that's early. I'll need to be wheels up before 7am; based at FTY. Yes, I can do that, plane's reserved and I've been to both airports.

Jon, where do I meet you at CHA? Not being based at CHA I've stopped at the FBO (TAC Air). There or at the GA hangars?

Wayne........

The tower or ground control is familiar with the phrase TAC Air north. It is north of the terminal, abeam the approach end of RWY 20.

If you want I can shift my planned times a half hour. Send me an email so I can include you on the email list. We have everyone on board on that list so when we get close to the day of the transport we can make sure all involved are seeing and getting the same information.

Also, please indicate if you are IFR. About half the time I have gone into CHA at that hour I have had to do the ILS due to fog.
