Roman, a 2 year old red fully vetted Doberman beat the odds at a very high kill shelter in West Monroe, LA. Heartworm positive in a poor area of the country ensured he wouldn’t be adopted. He needed the miracle of rescue. With the help of many – we were able to find a rescue that would take him and to get him out of the shelter and into temp sanctuary. Roman lost that sanctuary late this week, when the home he was staying at burned down. Thankfully everyone and all furry creatures got out safe.

Roman has rescue in Tulsa OK . Roman is a very sweet, laid back, gentle boy about 55 pounds, that really needs that get to rescue ASAP to start his heartworm treatment.

Maybe we can get OK, MS and TX pilots to tag team getting this boy to Tulsa or somewhere close. What do y’all think? Can we make this work?

We are traveling to southern LA from Iowa this coming week and will be returning Saturday morning (March 28th).
