Golden Pembroke Welsh Corgi Fanciers, Inc. has a 12 year old rescue that needs to go to his new home. Shadow is a hard to place dog due to his age, and this is an awesome home. Due to his age, ground transport is not the best option.

Shadow has had a rough couple of months. His owner was put in a nursing home after suffering several strokes, and she had no family to take him. He came to us a couple of weeks ago. He is a really sweet boy. Please help me get Shadow to his new owner.

I live in the Monterey, CA area, but am willing to drive him a couple hours if it will help him get home.

I am based out of Livermore and I am working on picking up another dog in the Bakersfield area.

Maybe I could get a 2-fur and pick up your pup on the way down south.

FYI there's another request for Portland to San Diego on the boards and I think "rmfire" said they can do a bit north of SMO to SAN so maybe you can combine trips. Just a thought.

I want to say first, that I am utterly and totally amazed at the response!

We are hoping to have Shadow transported April 12-19th. Is this a possibility? This is my first time requesting a transport, so I am not sure how the scheduling works I know that we can adjust the starting and ending points if needed.

Thanks in advance for understanding that I am a "first timer."

Looks like I am picking up the Rottie in Bakersfield this Sunday. Might be too soon too coordinate a connecting flight for Shadow in Bakersfield to go the rest of the way to San Diego.

We can shoot for the 12th-19th. Seems like this is a popular route.

Yes, this weekend is too soon. However, after April 12th, his new family is able to arrange to pick him up anytime during the week or weekend. Also, I am very flexible in my schedule. Just let me know if this will work for anyone.
