Requesting assitance with transport of six puppies and one adult dog from Monroeville, AL to Tampa, Fl. A ground transport has been tried for the last three weeks, but no luck. If they can't get out soon, they will be put down . . .

We have worked out a ground transport for these pups from Monroeville, Alabama to Tallahassee, FL for this Saturday (4/11). If anyone could help get them from Tallahassee to Tampa it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Amy,

This should work out as I will be transporting a border collie from Lantana, FL to Kissimmee that is about the same size as your adult dog so I will already have a crate. I am assuming that since the pups are about 5 pounds each, the 2 crates that they will be in will be about the size of a large cat carrier?
I can do this transport but it would be a great help to me if someone could bring them to Perry-Foley airport (40J). Let me know. The weather for Sunday is looking good.

If you and Erik can make it work for Saturday let me know. I will be measuring the plane for the three crates and now think they will all fit but will let you know.

Everything is set for this transport except for the contact info. I have a crate in the plane 32"long x 22"wide x 23"high that should work for the adult dog for the one hour trip and I have room for the 2 crates with the puppies. Weather looks good throughout Florida so all is well for an early morning departure.

Transport complete!! Another day, another 8 dogs saved (These 7 plus the Bearded collie from my morning trip). Can't think of a better way to spend my Easter. It was a great day to fly, I met some wonderful new people and I was still home by 3PM to play with my pups.
