We are getting desperate! This dog is in a kill shelter and so far not transport options have worked out. I have one Pilot that can fly from Frankfort, KY to Lansing, IL (which is the closest airport to Steger). This dog needs to be moved soon.....Can anyone help????? Tessa, a red nose Pit, is in Baldwin County Animal Control Center in Summerdale, AL. She is going to Don't Bully My Breed Rescue in Stegar, IL. The shelter has agreed to hold this sweet dog for a few more days, so transport can be arranged. We need to move her as quickly as possible though, because this is a kill shelter. We were able to do this exact transport a while back for a red nose Pit named Sealy.......let's see if we can do it again! Thanks so much for your help.

Hi all,
Just to make this legal, Bill C. and I are flying Tessa from MDQ to HNB for one leg of her trip to Seger IL. Planned for Sunday A.M., 05/31/09.

Tessa arrived in Madison at 5:00 this afternoon for a sleep over with Bill C.tonight. Bill and I will fly her to Warren for final leg to Seger tomorrow morning. More updates and pics later.

Shameless plug for our group:
Gwen and Amy and I are part of Greyhound Pets of America---Montgomery Chapter.
Amy is the President.
We are always moving greyhounds around.
The second picture is Misty Leader making herself comfortable next to Tessa/Lucy's crate.
In a couple of weeks, Misty will come to my house as a foster.
I am so excited! Isn't she beautiful?

Done, Warren delivered her to Lansing yesterday. All went as planned, sweet dog, good people! Will try to post pics and story later.
