We have 17 kittens and one momma cat that needs to go from the Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro area to Boston, MA, as soon as possible. They are going from two different rescues to Black Cat Rescue in Boston, Massachusetts. There possibly may be a couple more. One rescue is in Union County, South Carolina (True Care Rescue) and the other rescue is outside Raleigh. You can contact me to arrange transport. It would be a very long drive for them. I am a flight attendant currently on voluntary furlough and am working with these rescues to get these little ones to safety. Thank you very much.

That's a lot of cats!

It would depend a great deal on how they can be crated how many I could take, but I'm interested in the VA portion (from NC into MD, potentially) I have a 1 large 1 medium crate limit, and the medium would be comfortable for the momma cat only or a couple kittens.

How close to Boston do you need to get them? I'm not available this weekend (June 5/6). I could do say NYC area to near Boston.

Bad news. My aircraft is down for maintenance. I'll post when it's available.

No, they have not. We have the fourteen kittens in Smithfield, NC, close to Raleigh, that need to go to Boston as soon as possible. The rescue can drive a little way to pick them up if need be. The kittens are all under 4 months old. Any help is greatly appreciated. They can fly any day.
Thanks so much,

Hi everyone!

We have a mom and kittens which need to come from North Carolina to Boston this Saturday. John can get them to GSO. We need pilots to get them GSO-KLKU and another to fly KLKU to MIV.

I can p/u at MIV and go to 4N1. We need a pilot for 4n1 to an airport close to Boston. Please see below:

TO GSO (JOHN)
GSO (36°05'52"N 79°56'14"W) KLKU (38°00'35"N 77°58'13"W) 38° (NE) 171 mi (NEED)
KLKU (38°00'35"N 77°58'13"W) MIV (39°22'04"N 75°04'20"W) 58° (NE) 183 mi (NEED)
MIV (39°22'04"N 75°04'20"W) 4N1 (41°07'42"N 74°20'48"W) 17° (N) 127 mi (LINDA)
4N1 (41°07'42"N 74°20'48"W) BOS (42°21'47"N 71°00'23"W) 62° (NE) 193 mi (NEED)

Can anyone help with any of the legs? If you can, please let Cheryl know asap. John can give you the start time, as he is p/u in NC on Sat morning (or Fri and overnighting).

Thanks!
Linda

I'm a little confused here... are you asking me to pick up the animal(s) at Greensboro for a leg into VA or that they are in the Charlotte area and need a lift to Greensboro? Cheryl's message seems to indicate they originate near Raleigh, so the leg that makes most sense to me is KGSO to Louisa or somewhere closer to KJGG for transfer for a leg to NJ.

If there were someone who could pick up in NC and transport near KJGG I'd be happy to do the leg from there to KMIV.

Unfortunately, Chris has to fly this weekend for work so we can't be of assistance. I hope the kitties make it up here!
