I have a couple of crates to carry the pups in. Again, I should be able to get to ACZ around 9:00-9:30 AM on Saturday if that works for you Leslie. We''ll all be in touch this week to finalize the times. looking forward to it.

Hi Mark & Rick,

I just learned that an 11th Hour Rescue volunteer will be driving down to Wilmington from NJ in about 2 weeks and can plan to drive Daisy & her boys back with her on her ride back to NJ. I do appreciate the offer and if I learn of any changes, I'll contact you both immediately. I hate to cancel this flight request & am nervous doing so (I hope everything works out with this ground transport plan!) but I know how many other offers you both are getting and I want to free up your schedule as quickly as possible.

I do hope that everyone further north won't have many problems with Sandy.

Thank you again so very much and if I hear of any changes, I'll definitely let you know right away!! If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 910-297-7446 or you can contact me via email at [email protected]. Rick, I believe you tried calling me earlier and I apologize for not getting back with you; I've had to entertain company for the better part of the day!

Take care,
Leslie

Hi Everyone, we're trying to get Daisy and her boys to NJ after all. With Sandy, the original plan could not be worked out. As soon as Daisy and her boys can get to CDW, then Half-Way Home will be able to pull more from the shelter, so time is of the essence. Please let me know if you can help. Take care, Leslie ([email protected] and 910-297-7446)

What is the status of this mission and are you still covered for the last leg into Caldwell, NJ?

Hi Mark & Dean,

Thanks so much for your help. There are a few scenarios that I'm working on. I have 2 additional offers for the 2nd leg to CDW. One from FDK to CDW and one from XSA to CDW.

I'm trying to find a first leg flight from ACZ to either FDK or XSA.

Or, I might be able to ask the pilot out of FDK if he would be willing to fly the first leg from IXA to FDK. If this is the case, would either of you be able to fly from FDK to CDW? And what days would you be available?

I appreciate your help!

Take care,
Leslie

Hi Leslie,
I would assume based on the previous replies that Mark has first dibs on the last leg of this mission to Caldwell, NJ. I could stand by as back up / additional pilot as necessary.

Regards,
Dean

Hi Dean,

Would be happy to stand down as primary and standby as backup. I have another flight I'm trying to fit in the schedule.

Available Sat & Sun,
