One of the coonhounds will not have a driver for Sunday (Helen) and the other (the bluetick) can go on the flight and is about 65lbs.

65 lbs is a big dog and will probably take up the entire back seat. Any crate that would hold a 65 lb dog will probably be too large to fit in a plane. He will have to be tethered in the back seat. How large are the other dogs?

The other two are about 55 lbs each but are best buddies, they lived together and were turned in together

We would only need the 3 dogs transported, the fourth is going elsewhere

Well let me know what you think. Is this a good airport to go to? www.ohio.edu/athens/bldgs/airport.html
Its in Albany, Ohio right outside of Columbus

Where do you live? There are several airports in the Columbus area, the one you listed is in Athens, in southeastern Ohio, not anywhere near Columbus.

I live in NY. We are looking into instead of having you take the big 65lb coonhound, having you take a smaller, old beagle. I live in NY but the dogs are from Lancaster Ohio and St.Clairsville Ohio. Maybe I posted the wrong airport

Yeah, I'm doubtful I could get even three of them in the 182. I have a large wire crate that takes up the whole rear seat, but I can't really envision being able to put two 50+ pound dogs in there. Might be limited to two of them for this trip.
